Detail design for deepening the access channel, inner channel and maneuver basin of Port of Figueira da Foz, to allow the entry and parking of larger ships. Alnother part of the study included the elaboration of the design for the advance structure of the berthing pier with a total length of about 875 m, the demolition of the Doca dos Bacalhoeiros, the design of a tugboat parking floating pontoon, and the dredging in rock and sandy material and the respective Environmental Impact Study. Construction is due to begin in 2024.
Part of the study includes the development of the execution project for the structure of the quay extension, with a platform level at +5.0 m (ZH) and a service level at -9.0 m (ZH), with a total extension of approximately 875 m; the demolition of the breakwater at the Doca dos Bacalhoeiros; the design of the tugboat mooring pontoon with a floating walkway structure; the preparation of dredging plans for rock and sandy material; and the development of the corresponding Environmental Impact Study.
