Within the scope of the new I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge, in Louisiana, PVR Engineering partnered with EDGAR CARDOSO and ESTRATO INGENIERIA to design the sheet pile system for temporary earth retainment to allow construction of the pile caps of Bridge B5 – Sampson Street over I-10. The bridge comprises a total of 13 bents, of which 11 are based on pile caps below ground level.
