Adolfo is a Global Senior Executive with broad experience in leading many large design projects in multiple countries for over 30 years. He was the Head of Highway Projects at CLOTHOS (1993-1996), Project Manager at INTECSA within the Tunnels and Underground Works Division (1996-2002), where became Deputy General Manager, Director of the Infrastructure Department, and finally Executive Vice President and Director of International Expansion.

He was the coordinator of the INTECSA-INARSA delegations in Spain, managing their relationship with the Head Office. After SNC Lavalin’s departure from the shareholding, he became a partner of the company and led foreign operations.

He has participated in numerous projects, either as a project manager, or as an Advisor or Representative of the consultant. Many of these projects were of special relevance, including underground and geotechnical works, tunnels, railways, roads, bridges, buildings, hydraulics works and quality assurance plans.

He has extensive international experience and is a professor of the Master’s Degree in Tunnels given by AETOS. Adolfo participated in several technical publications about tunnels and is a member of the AETOS expert group responsible for drafting the guide on “Supports and Lining in Tunnels” .
