Ship mooring and berthing study at the Liquid Bulk Terminal of the port of Aveiro

In view of the local geometric constraints and taking into account the mooring scheme for vessels according to the specific applicable rules and recommendations, namely BS6349:
Part 4, ROM 0.2-90, Mooring Equipment Guidelines (MEG4) and PIANC recommendations, the maximum length and number of ships that will be possible to dock in the quay structures was analysed considering the possibility of simultaneous operation at PC24, PC25 and PC26.
From this analysis, mooring plans were generated for the different types of ships and the mooring and berthing support devices were evaluated.
