The DJV, formed by IDOM/EDGAR CARDOSO/PROCESL, was appointed by the CJV Rodovias do Baixo Alentejo ACE to develop the detail design of the Baixo Alentejo road concession (SPER), which encompasses about 300km of roads and highways. EDGAR CARDOSO’s scope was the design of the structures, including 10 bridges/viaducts, 60 overpasses, and 49 underpasses.

This process included conceptual, preliminary, and detail designs, as well as technical assistance during construction. Also included in the contract was the main inspection of 100 existing bridges.
